If you use a tool <em>Citations and bibliography<\/em> in Word, you will\u00a0see that\u00a0in individual citations it will\u00a0use rounded\u00a0brackets instead of square. In Czech Republic used <strong>ISO 690 &#8211; Numeric reference<\/strong>\u00a0will\u00a0display the form &#8220;&#8230; quoted text &#8230;&#8221; (1). Brackets for quotations are set deep in the configuration files of Microsoft Office. In this article you will find working\u00a0process of changing this setting. It is located in the Program Files folder, the full path is: <strong>C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Office14<\/span>\\Bibliography\\Style.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Considering that the default drive\u00a0is labeled C, always use yours<\/li>\n<li>Version\u00a02013 is stated as\u00a0<em>Office15, <\/em>2010 &#8211;\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><em>Office14<\/em><\/em><\/span>, 2007 &#8211;\u00a0<em>Office12<\/em>, 2003 &#8211;\u00a0<em>Office11<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can download prepared file with everything set<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itlektor.cz\/soubory\/iso690\/ISO690Nmerical.XSL\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the adjustment in the above folder did not work or do not have it there, set it in the folder: <strong>C:\\Users\\user\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Bibliography\\Style<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Considering that the default drive\u00a0is labeled C, always use yours<\/li>\n<li>instead of\u00a0&#8220;<strong>user&#8221;<\/strong> you will have your username<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this folder you will find<strong> ISO690Nmerical.XSL<\/strong> file, open it for example in Notepad by right mouse button&gt; Open With &gt; Notepad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the file, you must find the line indicating the code\u00a0below and replace them with the new one (in bold).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itlektor.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/hranaze_zavorky2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4215\" src=\"https:\/\/www.itlektor.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/hranaze_zavorky2.png\" alt=\"square brackets\" width=\"605\" height=\"195\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.itlektor.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/hranaze_zavorky2.png 605w, https:\/\/www.itlektor.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/hranaze_zavorky2-300x97.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 605px) 100vw, 605px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then you must save file ISO690Nmerical.XSL. If you can not be saved in the same place, save it to your desktop, close Notepad and Word, and the newly created file move into the above folder, overwrite the original file.
